Babson College has been honored with a Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Bridge Builders award for educating entrepreneurial and business leaders with a global mindset—yet another proof point to the College’s impact and excellence in international education.

In November, Babson College was ranked No. 7 for number of international students for 2020–2021, No. 1 for number of education abroad students on Short-Term Programs for 2019–2020, No. 2 for number of education abroad students on Mid-Length Duration Programs for 2019–2020, and No. 2 for total number of education abroad students on all duration programs for 2019–2020 in the Institute for International Education’s Annual Open Doors Report.

Sixty-three percent of Babson College’s Class of 2021 took part in credit-bearing education abroad programs, and the College currently offers 120 education abroad programs in 41 countries. In addition, 30% of undergraduate students are international students.

Babson has partnered with CIEE over the past 15 years. In the past five years, Babson has sent 500 students on CIEE semester and summer programs, 115 customized faculty-led programs, and 57 students on the “Babson in China” program during COVID-19. In 2015, Babson College was honored with the CIEE’s Academic Consortium award.
