Babson’s College Marketing Earns Several Top Awards

Listen

Babson’s College Marketing department has earned a host of honors for its creative and strategic work, including two Platinum MarCom Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals and eight gold awards at the Education Digital Marketing Awards.

Babson received two 2023 Platinum MarCom Awards for Integrated Marketing and the College’s strategic communications campaign, in partnership with Live Wire Communications. MarCom Awards have evolved into one of the largest, most-respected creative competitions in the world with about 6,500 print and digital entries from dozens of countries annually.

Under the leadership of Kerry Salerno, vice president and chief marketing officer, the College Marketing department developed a strategic integrated strategy to raise awareness and the reputation of Babson College and to drive enrollment in all of its programs (undergraduate, graduate, executive and professional education, and Babson Academy), as well as support the goals of the Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the College’s eight centers and institutes. The campaign relied heavily on storytelling about its students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and it delivered content across multiple marketing and communications channels with varying tactics, including advertising, media relations, SEO, social media, video, and email communications.

“As a department, we’re proud and privileged to help shape and share the story of Babson College,” Salerno said. “We’re truly honored to be recognized for our team’s incredible and impactful work, and we appreciate the recognition for the Babson brand.”

Meanwhile, Babson College also earned a total of 10 awards, including eight golds, at the 11th annual Education Digital Marketing Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in digital marketing within the education sector. The eight gold awards:

The Education Digital Marketing Awards also honored Babson with a silver award for its GEM Key Insights Report (Annual or Community Report) and a bronze award for its Be Babson Video (Digital Special Video: Under 2 minutes).

Also, Babson visual designer Marissa Langdon earned an American Graphic Design Award for the 25th anniversary campaign of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. The awards are Graphic Design USA’s flagship competition for the entire design community and honor outstanding work in all media. In the 60th anniversary of the competition, there were more than 8,000 entries, and only the top 10% were honored.
