Money Magazine Ranks Babson Among Best Colleges in America

Listen

Earning high marks for its experiential learning and strong early career earnings, Babson College once again was ranked among the Best Colleges in America for 2023 by Money magazine.

Money—which named Babson the No. 1 Best College for Business Majors last year—rated Babson 4.5 stars in its new ratings system (1-5 scale) that “analyzed dozens of data points, including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid and alumni salaries.”

In its analysis of Babson as a best college, Money especially emphasizes the importance of students’ hands-on experiences, beginning with the signature Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course for first-year students and continuing with internships and other interactions with companies and organizations.

“The result of all that real-world learning: Babson performs extremely well in Money’s evaluation of student outcomes,” the report said. “Grads tend to stand out in the job market, with early career earnings topping $111,000. The list of ventures started by alums is impressive, including brands like Gerber, Home Depot and Zumba Fitness.”

Babson’s undergraduate Class of 2022 earned the highest starting salary ever for Babson undergraduates at $71,385, a 14% increase over the previous year. And, Babson’s MBA Class of 2022 earned an average U.S.-based salary of $116,935.
