Babson Ranks No. 13 on Money’s Best Colleges in America List

Listen

Babson College once again ranks as one of the best colleges and best values in the United States.

In its annual list of the Best Colleges in America, released this week, Money magazine ranked Babson No. 13 overall. The rankings analyzed colleges on quality of education, affordability and outcomes.

In its assessment of Babson, Money emphasizes the value of the students’ hands-on experience, beginning with Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) and extending to ongoing interactions with companies and organizations. The magazine writes: “The result of all that real-world learning: Babson grads tend to stand out in the job market, with early career earnings topping $100,000.”

In fact, Babson was one of only two colleges among the 623 ranked by Money to report six-figure early career earnings with $106,600.

The average starting salary for Babson’s undergraduate Class of 2021 was $62,525—the highest in school history.

Babson also was recognized earlier this year for its strong return on investment. In a report by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW), Babson College ranked ninth in return on investment 40 years after enrollment, with a net present value of $2,242,000.
