President Spinelli Named to the Boston Business Journal Power 50
Babson College President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD has been named to the 2023 Boston Business Journal Power 50 list of the region’s most influential people who are using their power to improve the community.
The Boston Business Journal list continues a string of impressive recognition for Babson, which this month was ranked the 10th best college in America by The Wall Street Journal and was named the No. 1 undergraduate school for entrepreneurship for the 27th consecutive time by U.S. News & World Report.
“I’m grateful to be named to the Boston Business Journal’s 2023 Power 50 list alongside such visionary and innovative leaders,” Spinelli said. “It’s an honor serving as Babson’s president, and this recognition is a testament to the strength of our community.”
Spinelli is one of just two college leaders on the Power 50 list, alongside Jackie Jenkins-Scott, interim president of Roxbury Community College. Reshma Kewalramani H’23, the president and CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals who addressed Babson’s graduate Commencement ceremony in May, also was on the Power 50 list for the second year in a row.
“This year’s group once again exemplifies those in the Boston business community who are breaking barriers, effecting change in their sphere of influence, and working to build a better Boston,” said Carolyn M. Jones, market president and publisher of the Boston Business Journal.
