Class of 2024 Award Winners Recognized at Senior Awards Ceremony
On May 10, the day before Commencement, over 20 graduating undergraduate students received honors for their academic and social contributions to campus at the Senior Award Ceremony. Travis Hosea ’24, Ruby Reich ’24, and Andrea Torres ’24 each received two awards, with Hosea and Alexander Bowers ’24 earning the Carroll W. Ford Scholarship as the class valedictorians.
Torres received the prestigious Roger W. Babson Award, as well as the Economics Achievement Award. Reich was named the Student Athlete of the Class and shares the Clinton A. Peterson Accounting Award with Hosea. Commencement speaker Alyssa Keith ’24 received the Rudolph A. Johnson Management Award.
“You are here today as leaders in the classroom, across clubs, student organizations, and study abroad experiences,” President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD said to all the recipients. “Babson students are known for their commitment to academics and to always striving for the best. You represent the highest level of that success, and Babson takes pride in celebrating you today.”

Before the ceremony ended, Wendy Murphy, associate dean of the undergraduate school and professor of management, announced Brad Johnson, assistant professor of practice in the Operations and Information Management Division, as the class’ selection for the Undergraduate Faculty of the Year. Johnson teaches supply chain management and operations management courses, and he is a previous recipient of the honor. Prior to his time at Babson, he was vice president at Wayfair.
