Jeannine Stein is the editor of Babson Magazine. She has been a staff writer for several newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, where she covered features, health, and design, as well as three presidential inaugurations. She was also editorial director of Cloth Paper Scissors magazine, and is the author of three books.

Keeping an optimistic outlook on life’s challenging issues doesn’t always come easy. But, through her research, Professor Mary Godwyn has found reasons to be hopeful.

Godwyn, who teaches sociology in the History and Society Division, focuses her research in areas such as the environment, ethics in business, gender inequality, and diversity. She has uncovered much that’s inspiring, and she loves sharing the information with her students to make them question their perceptions about the business world and to prepare them for the road ahead. In 2017, she won Babson’s Faculty Research Fund Award.
