Office Hours: Shaking It Up

Mary Godwyn
Listen

Keeping an optimistic outlook on life’s challenging issues doesn’t always come easy. But, through her research, Professor Mary Godwyn has found reasons to be hopeful.

Godwyn, who teaches sociology in the History and Society Division, focuses her research in areas such as the environment, ethics in business, gender inequality, and diversity. She has uncovered much that’s inspiring, and she loves sharing the information with her students to make them question their perceptions about the business world and to prepare them for the road ahead. In 2017, she won Babson’s Faculty Research Fund Award.

In the article “Disrupting the Rules,” Godwyn talks about the work she does, and how it impacts her classroom. Read more in this exclusive article in the spring issue of Babson Magazine.
