Rita Hansen P’24 and Ethan Rosenthal ’22 Honored With Campus Activities Awards

Listen

Rita Hansen P’24, the student life administrative coordinator at Babson College, recently received the Everyday Hero Award from the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Northeast Region, And, Ethan Rosenthal ’22 was one of the 2022 recipients of the NACA Northeast Region’s Ken M. Bedini Student Leader Award.

Hansen has been at Babson for 16 years and has helped countless students and alumni throughout the years with their club-related business. She also manages the Student Government Association’s expenses. “Rita was worthy of the Everyday Hero Award because of all of her work behind the scenes,” said Angel Long, the director of student engagement. “She is a campus mom to those who get to interact with her, and was even making the beds in the quarantine and isolation rooms during the height of the pandemic.”

Rosenthal was honored for his contributions to the Babson community, especially the Campus Activities Board (CAB). “He was a part of the organization during his entire time at Babson and was instrumental in helping bring back some of CAB’s in-person traditions during the 2020–2021 academic year,” Long said. “Ethan was more of a behind-the-scenes student leader, and I’m so glad he was honored with this regional award.”
