Brad Johnson Honored with Undergraduate Faculty of the Year Award

Headshot of Brad JohnsonBrad Johnson, senior lecturer in the Operations and Information Management division, was selected as the Undergraduate Faculty of the Year by the Class of 2022. His award was announced at the Senior Undergraduate Award ceremony by Wendy Murphy, associate dean of the Undergraduate School and professor of management.

The award honors a professor who is described by students as having a “genuine excitement about his field” and a “passion for learning” that “shines through every class session.”

Johnson, who teaches Supply Chain Management and Technology and Operations Management, first joined Babson as a visiting lecturer in 2018. He has extensive experience in e-commerce and business operations, including as vice president of operations at online furniture retailer Wayfair and as chief operating officer of Intrepid Learning Solutions.

Johnson is a member of the board of directors of Dorel Industries and a strategic advisor to Foundry Brands, Stitch Fix, Formio Sequoyah, and several other organizations. Johnson holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, BBA from St. Bonaventure University, and CPA from the state of New York.
