43,000 Beavers Strong: Welcome to the Network

Listen

Congratulations to the Class of 2020 came this year in the form of a powerful video—Welcome to the Network—compiled with some of Babson’s greatest graduates offering words of encouragement.

Highlighting the power of Babson’s global network of alumni and friends—43,000 strong—these successful entrepreneurs and leaders in business welcomed this year’s crop of seniors into the club.

“It’s one of the most supportive communities that I’ve been a part of and I’m really excited for each and every one of you to get to experience it as well,” said Somia Farid Silber ’15, vice president, eCommerce at Edible Brands.

Babson boasts an impressive alumni network, which is one of the things that sets the College apart.

“Not a day goes by that I don’t reflect on Babson’s influence. My very first job at PepsiCo was thanks to Roger Enrico, Pepsi’s CEO and a Babson alum,” said Aaron Walton ‘83, founder and partner, Walton Isaacson.

And, of course, Babson’s unique blend of entrepreneurial leadership, business fundamentals, and creative liberal arts classes have prepared the Class of 2020 to solve real world problems at a uniquely challenging time.

“Your incredible education that you have received has prepared you perfectly to thrive in an environment like this,” said Linda Pizzuti Henry ‘00, H’19, managing director, The Boston Globe.
