Babson Academy Increases Accessibility of Entrepreneurship Education Around the World

Babson Academy found new ways to increase the accessibility of entrepreneurship education, reaffirming the power of breaking down geographic, socioeconomic, cultural, financial, and generational barriers. These efforts have allowed Babson Academy to transform learners across all age groups who will drive positive change for generations to come. 

According to its 2024 Impact Report, the Babson Academy entrepreneurial community expanded to 76 countries, including 23 new countries, engaging over 1,010 educators and more than 2,400 high school and university learners.

Removing financial barriers remains a key component of expanding the reach of entrepreneurship education. Babson Academy launched scalable digital learning modules in India and scholarships for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).  

“Our work not only builds bridges, but it also inspires transformation, regardless of age,” said Amir Reza, dean of Babson Academy and dean of global education at Babson. “We are empowering the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to overcome boundaries and create lasting impact.” 

A year after welcoming the Youth Impact Lab into its fold, Babson Academy continues to inspire the next generation in K–12 learning worldwide. More than 400 educators were certified in youth entrepreneurship education, allowing more than 700 students to receive the Entrepreneurship Program for Innovators and Changemakers (EPIC) curriculum. That includes educators across seven schools in Saudi Arabia and all educators and staff at the Lincoln School in Costa Rica. 

Other initiatives brought the Babson Academy to the American University of the Middle East in Kuwait, ATLAS SkillTech University in India, and additional institutions in Argentina, China, Dominican Republic, South Africa, and France.
