Babson Ranked No. 12 Among America’s Best Colleges by Time magazine
Babson College has been ranked No. 12 overall in the country by Time magazine in its inaugural edition of America’s Best Colleges 2026–2027.

The magazine rated Babson highly among the U.S. institutions that provide the best value for their students. Time’s analysis, in partnership with data research firm Statista, focuses on student outcomes, learning environment, and attractiveness to students.
The Time recognition is the latest ranking that places Babson among elite company in higher education. Stanford topped the list, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, Princeton, and the University of Michigan in the top five. Babson ranks third among Massachusetts colleges, behind only MIT (No. 2) and Harvard (No. 10).
“Babson has long been recognized as a global leader in business and entrepreneurship education,” said Babson President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD. “This new recognition from Time signals the continued ascension of our community’s leadership across higher education.”
Babson has been ranked the No. 2 Best College in the United States two years running by The Wall Street Journal. And, it has been the No. 1 undergraduate school for entrepreneurship 29 consecutive times, according to the U.S. News & World Report.
The College also recently concluded its Babson ELevates campaign, the largest and most successful philanthropic effort in its 107-year history, topping $750 million a year earlier than expected.
