Babson Academy Expands Entrepreneurship Education for Youth Learners and to New Regions of the Middle East and North Africa

The Babson Academy for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurial Learning has welcomed the Youth Impact Lab into its program offerings, expanding its mission to grow entrepreneurship education around the world into primary and secondary schools. Formerly housed within Babson’s Institute for Social Innovation, the Youth Impact Lab joined Babson Academy in fall 2023 to help guide the next generation of entrepreneurial changemakers. 

This expansion is one of several ways Babson Academy broadened its reach in 2023, according to its latest Impact Report. In 2023, Babson Academy brought entrepreneurship education to 50 countries, including new areas of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Asia, and Central and South America.  

Within the MENA region, Babson Academy deepened relationships with American University of the Middle East in Kuwait, American University of Afghanistan in Qatar, Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College in Saudi Arabia, The American University in Cairo, and The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon.

As we navigate the landscapes of education and entrepreneurship, we recognize the profound impact that transcending borders can have on individuals and societies alike.” 

Babson Academy built new connections in countries including Japan for a Global Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators, and Chile for the 2023 Babson Collaborative Global Summit. It welcomed 50 educators from 15 countries to explore entrepreneurship education as part of the academy’s thriving global community.  

Each year, Babson Academy welcomes new member institutions to the Collaborative, and 2023 was no different. The newest members include MCI The Entrepreneurial School in Austria, Link School of Business in Brazil, Superior University in Pakistan, Ulster University in Northern Ireland, INTEC Education College in Malaysia, and Bennett University in India.
