Winrich first joined Babson College in 1996 as an adjunct lecturer and was promoted to full-time lecturer in fall 1997. He has taught a wide variety of undergraduate science courses, including introductory courses such as Astronomy and Physics and more advanced courses such as Sociological Systems and Disaster Resilience.

The Posse Scholarship program has been a hugely successful and important part of the Babson community for more than 15 years. The Babson-Posse Foundation partnership provides four-year, full-tuition scholarships to students with academic and leadership potential recruited from a pool of more than 3,000 New York City public high school students.

“I’ve gotten to know many Posse scholars over the years in class, around campus, and at the Posse Plus Retreat,” said Winrich, who met with the newly selected Posse cohort and their families at the Posse Foundation’s Virtual Awards Ceremony last month. “They are a wonderful and inspiring group. It is truly an honor to work with our next incoming group of Posse scholars.”
