Summer at Babson Introduces New Opportunities for High School and Babson Students
Building on its entrepreneurial expertise, Babson College announced the launch of Summer at Babson, an expanded suite of summer programs, including a robust new lineup of pre-college educational opportunities and new initiatives for current students.
In addition to long-standing and popular summer programs such as Summer Study and the Summer Venture Program, Babson has launched an innovative Summer Intensive program for current students, and it has created 50-plus courses for high school students through the Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

The new and existing summer programs of Summer at Babson provide opportunities for learners at all stages to explore their interests, build their entrepreneurial skills, and shape their own educational journeys. Rooted in Babson’s Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® (ET&A®) approach, all of the summer programs emphasize hands‑on learning and practical application, helping learners to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, turn ideas into action, and see opportunities where others see challenges.
“Summers on campus have long played an integral role in advancing our mission,” said Babson President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD. “Under our new unified summer framework, our existing offerings will benefit from opportunities to collaborate and expand their reach.”
The expanded summer offerings also build on Babson’s commitment to lifelong learning, including pre-college, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Last year, the College also announced an expanded portfolio of Professional and Executive Education opportunities, including Babson On-Demand™.

Summer Programs for High School Students
A key component of Summer at Babson’s new offerings is the Blank School Summer Program, a suite of more than 50 non-credit bearing courses delivered over the course of four weeks and taught exclusively by Babson faculty members and expert leaders.
The program—created and produced in conjunction with Campus Life and other campus partners—offers residential, commuter, and online options for rising high school juniors and seniors, who can create their own path to fit their interests and goals and create a personalized experience. A badge to be used on LinkedIn profiles will be awarded to all students who successfully complete the program.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Apply by March 15 to secure preferred courses for the Blank School Summer Program.
“Through the Blank School, we’re extending Babson’s entrepreneurial approach earlier,” said Donna Levin, CEO of the Blank School. “These offerings are intentionally designed to provide high school students with customizable opportunities to build confidence and develop real-world skills—all valuable experiences that will inspire the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.”

The new Blank School Summer Program is a tuition-based, non-credit-bearing, college-readiness opportunity for high school students to explore college-like courses across all 10 academic divisions throughout the month of July. Applications are now being accepted, and students will be admitted on a rolling basis through May 1.
The new program complements the long-standing Summer Study for High School Students, also known as the Youth Impact Lab, a popular, credit-bearing opportunity for high school students from around the world to accelerate their academic journey. The residential program is a three-week opportunity offered in collaboration with the New England Innovation Academy.
Other existing pre-college programs include:
- Youth Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Miami, a dynamic three-day program where high school students learn how to identify meaningful problems and create actionable solutions while building critical thinking, resilience, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Bank on It: A Babson Financial Literacy Experience, a two-day immersive program based in Miami designed to equip high school students with the financial knowledge and entrepreneurial thinking to make smart money decisions.
- Summer sports camps, including baseball, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and ultimate frisbee
“These offerings are intentionally designed to provide high school students with customizable opportunities to build confidence and develop real-world skills.”
