Babson’s Katherine Craven Honored with Boston Business Journal 2026 Icon Awards

Katherine Craven, Babson College’s executive vice president of administration and finance, has been named an honoree of the Boston Business Journal’s 2026 Icon Awards: A Women Who Mean Business Program, which highlights women from a variety of fields who are leading Greater Boston’s business scene.

Craven was one of 10 women leaders selected by the Boston Business Journal, alongside the likes of Melanie Foley, chief people, purpose and brand officer at Liberty Mutual Insurance; Birgit Girshick, chief executive officer of Charles River Laboratories; and Colette Phillips, president and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications.

“Katherine Craven is a leader across higher education and finance in Boston,” the magazine wrote. “A 2020 CFO of the Year honoree, Craven leads ambitious projects at Babson College while serving as a critical community voice.”

Craven also serves as chairperson of the board of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, board treasurer of the Adams Presidential Center in Quincy, and board treasurer of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable.

Craven and the other honorees will be celebrated at a Boston Business Journal event Dec. 4 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza.
