Three Babson College ventures were awarded cash prizes last week at the 2022 Fast Track Showcase, which highlighted the work of the Butler Launch Pad’s Fast Track Cohort.

The founders in the Fast Track Cohort met weekly through the academic year to get feedback, support each other, hold each other accountable, and work on their business ventures.

At the showcase, Debra Swersky MBA’14 of Stemwear won $1,500, Mario Terceros Arce MBA’23 and Leonardo Fernandes MBA’23 of EduPartners won $750, and Luis Buitrago MSEL’22 of El Secreto para Emprender also won $750.

Meet the 2022 Fast Track Cohort entrepreneurs.

“Working with all of the entrepreneurs during the Fast Track program was a dream come true,” Swersky said. “After receiving my MBA from Babson, I didn’t know I would start my own company, but I knew I had learned what I needed to learn to get started. Having the Butler Launch Pad community and my Fast Track cohort family, I felt supported, engaged, and accountable to launch and grow Stemwear.”

Applications for the next Fast Track Cohort will open September 1 for the fall 2022 semester.
