Two Babson College economics professors were honored Monday with a prestigious Case Centre Award for their excellence in case writing.

Lidija Polutnik, professor of economics, and Megan Way, associate professor and chair of the Economics Division, were recognized in the Economics, Politics and Business Environment category for their case, Apple Watch (A)—The Launch, which examines the market for wearable technology and Apple’s entry into the market with the launch of its Apple Watch.

Presented annually since 1991, the Case Centre Awards and Competitions recognize worldwide excellence in case writing and teaching and also help to further raise the profile of the case method.
