Aaron Walton ’83, the trailblazing marketing executive and industry leader, now is a Hall of Famer.

Portrait of Aaron WaltonWalton was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Fame this spring for his innovative work at Walton Isaacson marketing agency, the company he co-founded with Cory Isaacson and Earvin “Magic” Johnson in 2005. Walton this spring also was named Agency Executive of the Year at Ad Age’s 2023 A-List & Creativity Awards Gala.

Walton thanked Babson during his Hall of Fame induction speech. “I am grateful to many of my teachers, and my alma mater, Babson College. Little did I know a Babson alum would change my life—my mentor, Advertising Hall of Fame inductee Roger Enrico (’65, H’86),” Walton said, describing the impact and lessons that the former PepsiCo CEO provided early in his career.

Walton also noted that he is the first openly gay ad executive to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. “What I’m looking forward to is being the first of many openly different Hall of Fame nominees,” he said.
