Global Leadership Professor Presents at Broad Institute’s Connective Commons Spring Summit

Rob Cross, Edward A. Madden Professor of Global Leadership, presented at the Broad Institute’s Connected Commons spring summit last week. His session considered “the future trajectory of the Connected Commons consortium and community.” In his career, Cross has worked with more than 300 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to develop innovation, revenue growth, and leadership solutions.

Professor to Lead Session on Exploration of New Innovation Processes

Professor of Innovation and Design Sebastian Fixson will led session on exploring new innovation processes for corporate leaders on May 16 at Babson Executive Education. Topics included understanding the challenges of innovation, the use of different modes of innovation, and why organizational climate can set the direction and tone of the innovation process.

Executive Director of IFE Shares Family Business Insights on Podcast

Lauri Union, executive director for the Institute of Family Entrepreneurship (IFE), will appear on an episode of American Public Media podcast Spectacular Failures to speak about the complexities of family businesses and how they operate differently than other endeavors. The newly established podcast has explored the collapse of large businesses such as Kodak and MoviePass.

Union took over her family’s business, Union Corrugating Company, at age 27 after graduating from business school, and grew the business for 14 years before it was sold to a private firm.
