Babson Executive Education Brings Stephen Flavin Back as Executive Director and CEO

Stephen Flavin has returned to Babson College as the new executive director and CEO of Babson Executive Education.

Flavin previously served as associate and acting dean of Babson Executive Education from 1997 to 2004. He returns to Babson with more than 25 years of experience supporting the learning needs of working professionals. He began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation (later Global Knowledge Network), and following his original time at Babson, he led all corporate relationship activities at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2004 to 2019. The past two years, Flavin led the growth of the B2B enterprise for Harvard Business School Online. He also serves on the executive committee of MassEcon and is a past board member of Unicon.

As executive director and CEO, Flavin will lead Babson Executive Education to grow and scale impact in Babson’s corporate ecosystem. He will work closely with groups across campus, particularly corporate engagement, Babson Academy, the Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and the centers and institutions, focusing on sales and market-driven designs, delivery, and support of Babson’s not-for-credit offerings.
