Babson Earns Nine Best of CASE District I Awards for Marketing Successes

Babson College recently earned more recognitions for its marketing successes by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). 

Led by its College Marketing department, Babson earned nine Best of CASE District I Awards, including five for Babson Magazine and two for its social media efforts, putting it among the most decorated schools in the Northeast. 

“College Marketing continues to do creative and impactful work in telling and sharing the stories that shape Babson, in collaboration with our campus partners,” Babson Chief Marketing Officer Kerry Salerno said. “We’re honored to be recognized by CASE, and we’re proud that our team plays an important role in enhancing the Babson brand.” 

Among its five awards, Babson Magazine was honored for overall alumni/interest magazine for four-year colleges (printed 3+ times a year). The other magazine honors were: 

  • Editorial director Eric Beato for his profile of Jake Thibeault ’26 and the men’s hockey team, “More Than Hockey”  
  • Senior journalist Hillary Chabot, Crawford, and Beato for their collaborative feature story, “All in One Day,” capturing what happens on campus 

Bryan Lipiner, senior manager of social media and content marketing, and Amelia Smith ’26 earned two awards for “Asking Babson Students What Their Favorite Class Is” in the Marketing: Advertising (Online) category and for “Day in the Life—Babson First Year Move-In” in the Videos: Student Audience (Short) category. 

Paul DeWolf, associate director of multimedia, was honored for the promotional video for the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers conference, which Babson is hosting this month. 

And, Babson was honored for the Athletics Donor Report FY23, “Investing in the Student-Athlete Experience,” in the fundraising reports category. The report was produced by Anna Moir, Libby McKee, and Mali Reimer in Advancement, and Mike Lynch and Scott Dietz in Athletics. 

College Marketing also recently released its 2024 impact report, highlighting its successes of the past year. See the full report below:
