Three-peat: Babson Wins Third Consecutive NEWMAC Men’s Presidents Cup
The Men’s Presidents Cup is staying at Babson College.
Babson earned its third consecutive New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men’s Presidents Cup, an all-sports award presented to the top overall men’s and women’s programs in the conference.

“To win the NEWMAC Presidents Cup for the third year in a row is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Mike Lynch, Babson College Pamela P. and Brian M. Barefoot Associate Vice President for Athletics and Athletics Advancement. “Our student-athletes, coaches, and staff work tirelessly to make sure we are competing at the highest level, and this achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in our department. I’m proud of the success we had this season and earning this award is a great honor.”
Babson’s men’s teams won three conference tournament championships and two regular-season titles, and captured top-four finishes in six of eight sports to secure first place in the standings, which are determined using a weighted points system based on the order of finish during both the regular season and championship play. Babson finished with 9.21 points to top second-place MIT (8.95) and third-place Springfield College (8.91).
