Babson Alumni Recognized on the 2022 Meaningful Business 100

Two Babson College alumni—Gayatri Jolly ’11 and Alejandro Souza ’09—have been recognized on the 2022 Meaningful Business 100, which celebrates leaders combining profit and purpose to help achieve the United Nations’ Global Goals.

A fashion social entrepreneur, Jolly is the founder and CEO of MasterG and Daughters and designed its Breaking Patterns Pedagogy. She is building an equitable world for women who want to make their mark in the apparel sector by giving them design-based skill education to break the patterns of unjust and societal prejudices, advancing the Global Goals of quality education and decent work and economic growth.

Souza has launched social enterprises in Rwanda, Uganda, Bhutan, Brazil, and Mexico. He is the founder of Pixza, a blue-corn pizzeria that employs and empowers previously homeless young adults, advancing the Global Goals of no poverty and decent work and economic growth. Most recently, he founded Wemerang, an app that helps users mobilize to solve social and environmental problems.
