Do chances for international students decrease for getting accepted due to COVID-19?
Quick answer, no. International students are an integral part of the Babson community and COVID-19 does not impact anyone’s chances of admission.
How different will the admissions process be next cycle? Changes to the application, weighting for activities, test scores, etc.
Applications for the 2021–2022 academic year will be available in September.

Can you describe financial aid for graduate programs, specifically the MBA?
All applicants are eligible to be considered for merit-based scholarship. Any financial aid questions can be directed to Student Financial Services at sfs@babson.edu.

Can you describe the virtual resources your team has for prospective students?

Will classes be a combination of in person and online this fall?
Graduate students have two primary choices for fall classes: hybrid and fully online classes. Both hybrid and fully online classes are accessible to all students, regardless of whether they are on campus.
I’m an international student and my visa process has been delayed. Will I be able to begin the program remotely?
Yes, you will be able to start your program remotely through online learning options available outside the U.S. We encourage you to reach out to the International Student and Scholar Services team to discuss the specifics of your situation. Or email us at isss@babson.edu.
I am worried about starting classes in person. Do I have the option to start the program online?
Yes, students may choose to begin the program fully remotely. We encourage you to reach out to your academic advisors to arrange the plan that works best for you. Or email us at gradacademicservices@babson.edu.
What is the best way to stay connected if travel to Babson isn’t possible?
Graduate Student Life and Leadership, Graduate Academic Services, and the Center for Career Development are all committed to providing robust experiences for all grad students with both online and in-person options for staying involved.

Will Babson have campus tours this fall? Or, just virtual tours?
While we will not be hosting on-campus visits in the fall, we encourage you to attend our virtual events and connect with the graduate admissions team.

What is the housing situation? Do all grad students have to live off campus?
Due to COVID-19 graduate on-campus housing is not being offered for the 2020–2021 academic year. The majority of graduate students typically choose to live in Boston and its surrounding neighborhoods.

What will the cohorts be like this fall? Are most students remote or on campus?
Students have the option to start the program remotely or on campus. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved and network within the program regardless of the option that you select.
