Overcoming the Challenge
When confronted with a challenge, Babson College students rise to the occasion and find opportunity.
That’s what students in the Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership program did during Monday’s Leading Entrepreneurial Action Project Design Fair.
In the course, students identify opportunities and launch a venture. On Monday, 16 teams met with members of the Babson community to virtually showcase their products, explain the problems they identified, solutions designed, and business models developed.
The two-semester-long course combines design, entrepreneurship, leadership, and teamwork, all of which were integral as the College transitioned online.
“You figured out new ways of working, collaborating,” said Associate Professor Victor Seidel. “You’ve not only prototyped your products and business models, but you’ve also prototyped a way to tell your story through video.”
Professor Sebastian Fixson offered congratulations to all the teams.
“At the end of this class, it’s always amazing to see what the students have created, but this year, given the extra challenges put in front of you, you can be really proud of your work. … You rose to the occasion.”
