Meredith emails, “Sami and I are the first couple to row from Monterey to Oahu. We arrived on Aug. 2, having rowed 2,765 miles in 45 days. We embarked on our record-breaking journey and created our fundraising campaign, Fat Chance Row, to raise awareness of the dangers of excess sugar in processed foods. All donations go to the nonprofit Institute for Responsible Nutrition.”
