Ben emails, “With the broader goal of alleviating extreme poverty, I manage the government’s funding mechanisms addressing disaster assistance, market development, and HIV/AIDS alleviation. Utilizing entrepreneurship, I strengthen and streamline these resources. Starting next year I’ll be stationed in a different developing country every four years. This picture was taken with a group of displaced women and children at a UNICEF camp in Juba, South Sudan, in 2015. USAID funds these types of programs in post-conflict locations.”
