Lee Welling emails, “My first book is a historical novel, The Actor?, the first of a trilogy. The thriller and love story, told by the biggest star on Broadway in the 1950s, happens during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I had been the comedy lead in three Broadway shows—Guys and Dolls, Damn Yankees, and South Pacific—at Babson, where my love of theater was born, and I have not forgotten protesting Fidel Castro outside Park Manor South.
