Brian Tartufo (right) emails, “Babson baseball alumni held their fourth annual alumni golf tournament, the Govoni Golf Classic, on Aug. 15 at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Mass. The tourney is named in honor of Norm Govoni (second from left), longtime assistant baseball coach and marketing professor. To congratulate Coach G. on his retirement, he was presented with a picture of the Norman and Terry Govoni Field painted on a home plate. We’re joined by Joe Kehoe ’03 (left) and Matt Nolan ’03 (second from right), who planned the event with me.
