Babson is one of 25 higher education institutions taking part in a new United Nations leadership group, the Principles for Responsible Management Education Champions. Part of the UN PRME initiative, which was launched in 2007 and since has garnered more than 500 signatories from 81 countries, the PRME Champions initially will work to refine what leadership means in relation to responsible management education, identify criteria to recognize progress, and develop a road map for continuous improvement. Dennis Hanno, provost and senior vice president, who attended the PRME Champions inaugural event, says Babson’s selection to be part of this group underscores the College’s commitment to preparing responsible leaders and recognizes the innovative work that Babson already is doing.
